Wet, Warmer, and not so Wild Weekend

Posted on

For the longest time I thought West Virginia’s slogan was “Wet and Wild West Virginia.” Must’ve been that John Denver. This weekend won’t be so wild, but Sunday will be wet as a coastal low develops, bringing significant rainfall to the East. A chance of rain and snow will move into western PA from this system while DC sees rain. Conditions cool down next week allowing for a better pattern for snow to return to western PA. Highs in the 30s and 40s are expected this weekend for western PA while lows dip into the 20s and low 30s. For DC, we’re looking a 40s and 50s with lows in the 30s. Could see highs back in the teens in NW PA by the early work week next week while DC looks at 30s. Have a great weekend! It’s Friday, so get down on it I guess?
