Rain this morning will changeover to sleet and snow into the afternoon in NW PA. In Pittsburgh the rain will last longer before some snow shuttles in later. 2-5″ of snow is possible in NW PA while SW PA sees a coating to a couple inches. Something to watch out for is rain from this morning refreezing underneath snow that sticks. Will take a little while for snow to stick to pavement with how warm it has been the past few days. Temperatures will decline throughout the day as it gets really cold tonight. Wind chills in the negative teens are possible.
For DC, we’re looking at rain today. Potential for some light snow late but you shouldn’t see much accumulation. Temperatures will get chilly into the night tonight and tomorrow before bumping back up to more comfortable values.
