Looking like a sloppy but warmer day today as rain is likely in western and central PA, especially into the afternoon and overnight hours. Heavy downpours are possible with this system late. At least you’re not in southern Oklahoma where a half an inch could coat the roads today. This threat of rain will continue tomorrow, although sleet and snow may move in tomorrow night. A slight threat for freezing rain is possible, but Pittsburgh should see mainly sleet, rain, and snow and north of there should see mainly snow. Could see some accumulations of 1-3″ with higher amounts possible in higher elevations. Saturday will be cooler but drier. Highs in the mid 50s to mid 60s are possible through western PA today before afternoon temperatures in the 30s move in tomorrow and afternoon temperatures in the 20s move in on Saturday. Overnight temperatures tonight in the 30s/40s are expected before declining into the 20s tomorrow night. As for DC, should stay dry today before a chance of rain moves in through early Saturday. Highs in the mid 60s today will give way to afternoon temperatures in the 50s tomorrow and 40s on Saturday. Overnight temperatures in the 60s tonight will give way to 40s tomorrow then 30s by Sunday. Long discussion is done, have a good day! Let’s go Pens!
