Severe Weather Potential in PA

After a beautiful majority of the weekend in both western PA and the DC Region, conditions will start to moisten up through the middle of the week. A chance of showers and thunderstorms will move into western PA today before expanding south and eastward into the DC Region on Tuesday. The threat of showers and storms will continue through the middle of the week for the region before conditions dry out through the late work week. Severe weather is possible today and tomorrow in western PA as straight-line winds, heavy downpours, and small hail are the main risks. Highs in the  low to mid 80s for western PA will drop into the 70s/Low 80s the next couple of days. DC will see 90s the next couple of days before dipping into the 80s by mid week.
