Another wet day before conditions start to dry out slightly on Thursday and Friday. The DC Region should dry out by Thursday evening and into Friday while parts of western PA continue to see a risk of light showers. High temperatures will generally hold steady in the 50s and 60s in western PA while 60s and 70s occur in the DC Region.  Low temperatures in the 40s and low 50s are expected in western PA while DC sees 50s and low 60s. Stay dry seems to be the motto this week, so keep doing that and have a good second half of the week!

Main threat: Slippery roads possible from rain. Localized flooding and ponding on roads possible.

  • Thursday: Chance of showers early. Highs: Mid to Upper 70s Overnight Lows: Low to Mid 50s
  • Friday:  Partly sunny. Highs: Upper 60s/Low 70s Overnight Lows: Upper 40s/Low 50s

Good News: Next week looks to warm up a bit before above normal temperatures could occur in the 11-15 day period.

Bad News: Wet weather persists, especially in western PA into the weekend.
