2 days of work then up to the Burgh for the week. No Frost Advisories from Wed-Sun

Posted on

Well after a pleasant weekend (other than the rain and Steelers not making the playoffs), conditions will cool down and some light snow will fall. Keep in mind that Lake Erie is at 33 degrees currently, and once it freezes the lake-effect snow won’t be able to develop. However, there are other lakes like Huron that could still help to enhance some snow. Looking at highs in the 20s through much of the week as a chance of snow could hang around. Lows in the teens and low 20s are expected. Could see 1-3″ or so over the next 3 days in NW PA before a more substantial shot of snow could fall on Thursday and into Friday. Models differ with snowfall totals but there could be quite a bit up towards northern PA especially. As for DC, looking dry the next 3 day with highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s and 30s. Anyways, have a great Monday! Take care!
