Star Wars: Return of the Wet Weather

After an amazing weekend we are looking at the threat of wet weather returning to the region today as a chance of showers and thunderstorms moves in ahead of a front. The threat of showers and storms will persist into Thursday for western PA and Friday for the DC Region. Temperatures will remain warm in the 80s over the next couple of days with potential for 90s in the DC Region today before 60s and low 70s move in on Thursday.  70s and 80s will persist in western PA. It currently looks like another nice weekend is in store for us coming up. Wetter weather is on the way, but at least it waited ’til the work week to start back up.   • Thursday: Southwest PA chance of showers and storms continues. Highs: Mid 70s Overnight Lows: 50s

Main threat: Showers and storms.

  • Today: Chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs: Upper 80s/Low 90s Overnight Lows: Upper 60s/Low 70s
  • Wednesday: Shower and thunderstorm threat continues. Highs: 80s Overnight Lows: Mid 50s to Low 60s
  • Thursday: Chance of pop-up showers and thunderstorms. Highs: 60s/Low 70s Overnight Lows: Upper 50s/Low 60s

Good News: Another dry out looks to occur this coming weekend.

Bad News: Wet weather risk lingers over the next 3 to 4 days.
