EF1 Tornado Confirmed in Mercer County, PA

After an unsettled past couple of days, conditions will start to settle down over the next few days. An EF1 Tornado was confirmed between Hermitage and Mercer in Mercer County, PA as roofs were torn off of houses and numerous trees were knocked down. Straight-line winds also occurred. Showers and storms could linger in western PA today before conditions dry out the next couple. DC will continue to see a risk of wet weather over the next couple days before drying out into the early weekend. Highs will cool down to near normal for this time of year overall in the 70s and 80s across the region. It’s hump day! Get over it! Take care!
