Clipper/Coastal Storm To Affect Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Blizzard Conditions Possible from NYC to Boston.

Posted on

I’m still on the boat that Pittsburgh and southwest PA get hit the hardest with the clipper system out of western PA/DC Region. However, potential for a coastal storm to form from this clipper gives potential for Philly, NYC, and Boston to get hammered with a possible foot or more of snow through Tuesday. In all honesty, I think that schools near Philly, NYC, and Boston will be cancelled on Tuesday. I’d imagine Monday schools could also be dismissed early if not cancelled in those areas as well. For western PA, I think that Monday could bring delays and cancellations to the region, especially in southwestern PA. I think schools will be cancelled in the DC Region, mainly north of the city. South of the PA border, this system could start out as rain before changing over to snow, possible adding to an ice threat under the packed snow. So all in all, don’t be a dumbass and drive like an idiot. Be cautious if you have to drive. If you are in the Philly, NYC, or Boston areas, I suggest staying off the roads Monday afternoon through Tuesday. Be safe and as always, if you have any questions feel free to ask. Take care folks!
