Another day of more clouds than sun across the region as a chance of showers moves into the DC Region. Western PA could see a slight risk of a spotty shower or two. Conditions will stay dry on Wednesday before late Wednesday night and Thursday bring a good chance of showers and storms along a front. Temperatures will stay near to above normal the next 2-3 days before below normal temperatures settle in for the weekend and early next week. Highs in the 70s and 80s in western PA the next couple days will drop into the upper 60s and 70s on Thursday. Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s in the DC Region today before upper 70s to low 80s move in on Wednesday. Upper 80s to low 90s are possible on Thursday. Lows in the 50s and 60s the next couple nights in Western PA will drop into the 40s and 50s on Thursday night and into the weekend.The DC Region will hold in the 60s and low 70s the next 3 nights. 50s will move in during the weekend and into early next week. Looks like near to above normal temperatures will linger during the first half of the week before values drop to well below normal. How cool is that? Western PA could see upper 50s and 60s as highs during the weekend and into early next week while DC could drop into the low 70s by early next week. Lows in the low to mid 40s are possible into the weekend. Western PA will see partly cloudy skies today before a slight chance of showers tracks in on Tuesday. Partly sunny skies will settle in on Wednesday. The DC Region will see a chance of showers move in late tonight and continue into Tuesday before drying out on Wednesday. Thursday will bring the front through as showers and storms are expected in the region. Highs in the 70s the next couple days in western PA will rise into the 70s and low 80s on Wednesday. The best threat of rain will move in on Saturday, bringing a sloppy start to the Penn State home opener, especially later in the game. This risk of rain will linger in the DC Region on Sunday while western PA dries out but cools down. Highs in the 80s in western PA today will drop into the 70s through the rest of the weekend.
