Severe Risk for Western PA Saturday Into Sunday. Vacation Begins Today. No Frost Advisories Next Week.

A beautiful day is in store for today before a chance of showers and thunderstorms move into western PA for tomorrow and Sunday. Some of these storms could be severe. The DC Region should stay dry a little longer before a chance of wet weather moves in Saturday night and Sunday. The wet weather threat will continue into Monday before conditions dry out during the middle of the week. A chance of pop-up activity is possible during the latter half of next week. Highs in the 70s and low 80s are expected in western PA while the DC Region rises from the mid 80s today to the low 90s for the weekend. High temperatures could cool down into the 60s and 70s in western PA by the middle of next week as a trough digs in. DC will see low to mid 80s through next week. Have a fantastic weekend and a great next week! I’ll gladly trade “Frost Advisories” for a week with my feet in the sand. Take care!
