Hump Day. Wet Wednesday. Call It What You Want.

Another wet day before conditions start to dry out slightly on Thursday and Friday. The DC Region should dry out by Thursday evening and into Friday while parts of western PA continue to see a risk of light showers. High temperatures will generally hold steady in the 50s and 60s in western PA while 60s and 70s occur in the DC Region.  Low temperatures in the 40s and low 50s are expected in western PA while DC sees 50s and low 60s. Stay dry seems to be the motto this week, so keep doing that and have a good second half of the week!

Soggy the next 3 days thanks to an upper-level low that acts like me waking up at 2:30am (slow). A chance of thunderstorms the next couple of days as some could be severe today in western PA. Back To the Old Grindstone

I am back after a wonderful vacation that was too short. Looking like this morning will stay dry before a chance of rain moves in later today and into tonight. The threat of showers and thunderstorms will continue into at least the middle of the week as a low pressure system lingers in the region. Temperatures will be relatively cool but comfortable with highs in the 50s and 60s and some areas in southwest PA and the DC Region reaching the low 70s by Wednesday. Lows will stay warmer than normal due to cloud coverage and moisture at night. Kind of an ugly middle of the week. Stay dry and have a good week folks!

Vacation’s All I Ever Wanted

My short vacation has finally arrived as I head out to Arizona to be a tourist. The tourists here in the DC Region may complain about it being on the cool side the next couple of days before temperatures bump up slightly by Friday. Breezy conditions could also make it feel chillier today as well. Western PA will see the same scenario. A chance of wet weather will also move in on Friday. Scattered wet weather could continue into the early weekend in PA while the DC region stays dry. Have a fantastic rest of the week folks!

The cold will arrive today  as temperatures decline throughout the day in western PA. It’ll feel like Winter again (although April seems to continue Winter in some parts of PA anyways).
